I've been to gay bars as a laugh. Yes women go there and have their guard down a bit, but it's not worth going to them strictly for straight women. Literally throw a rock and find a better spot to practice your game.

That is a flat out lie! I thought the same thing, so I went out with my gay friends, hit on every hot chick in the place only to have their butch dike girlfriend come running up making threats.

Went to a gay bar. Gays were hitting on me. Not going to gay bars again.

This is like one of those urban legends. I have no idea how it started, gay bars are full of gay people.

A very small amount of gay bars are the over the top spectacle kind of places people go to for a rise every now and again. You might meet women there but why?

I live in a mid sized city and one of the gay bars has hands down the best dance floor in town. Go with a mix of lezzies/gays/straights so that you're running with a group of more "accepted" people.
