Been on 4 dates with this chick, she's a 7.5/10. Hit it off, great conversations, good physical contact and such, but haven't fucked yet.

Thinking about potentially LTR-ing her, she has plenty of green flags. I have other plates, so that's not the problem. However, there's something about her I just can't put my finger on that makes me want to drop her and soft/hard next.

She initiated our last hangout, bought us tickets to this show, it was fun. That night was intense making out, I tried to escalate a bit but she pushed back. She had to leave at 11pm because she had to wake up super early for work. She texted me right after leaving. We chatted a bit but then I went to bed.

Silence from her for the next 3 days, so then I reach out to initiate another hangout. I only have one day free this week because I'm a busy guy. She says, "I have a concert to go to with my roommate, but could maybe do a happy hour before".

After that, she's leaving on vacation through new years. Since I won't be able to f-close her, is it worth it even pursing this happy hour? I feel like if we don't hang out, she'll go on vacation abroad and this thing will fizzle and be a waste of my time. On the other hand, maybe we should hang out.

She's going to let me know today if she can do the happy hour. If she can, what should I do? If she can't, how should I respond? I was thinking, "K", but that may appear to butthurt. Should I say, "No problem, [insert backup plans here], have fun on your trip"? Then, I would soft next until she reaches back out.
