I'm an 8, my friend is a 6. I'm tall, visibly muscular and well kept. My friend is short, skinny, raggy. He looks like Jesse Pinkman.

He has those big gay ear stretchers and girls flock to them. Hot girls too. At bars he gets approached by 5-7s a lot. I don't get approached nearly as much as him. Obv I'm doing the approaching in general though

But my buddy picks up so easily without trying. He's even a bit of a pussy, not to put him down, but he's shy/apologetic/has little frame

So why do gimmicky things like ear stretchers work so easily with some women? I've seen it with horrible tattoos, brand-name clothing (on a total goof), good cologne on a total beta.. they all seem to be successful, but why?

(Bonus edit: I had a friend who would try to pick up all night, fail, then almost always bring a girl home by standing outside the bars at 2-3am (closing time) and playing a harmonica. All he could play was the first bit of Piano Man but 9 times out of 10 girls would go approach him and he'd bring one home.)

I run the typical tall jacked rich-looking confident asshole guy (but really that's just me) It works like a charm but so does my bro's stupid earrings.
