It's happened to many people before. She could have her reasons, but unless she got into an accident or had an emergency there's really no good excuse. Waiting 2 hours for her was obviously not a good move, respect yourself a little more than that. You sound like a regular, good dude. Some people are just shitty, forget about it and move on because she doesn't deserve a second thought. Don't let her live in your head rent free, just remember this happens to men and women alike, nothing embarrassing about it.

First, realize this happens to everyone that seriously pursues dates/sex/love. Doesn't matter if they are men or women, rich or poor, hot or ugly. Sometimes you were the backup option, sometimes they are just flakey people that don't have their shit together. Getting flaked on doesn't indicate low value on your part. It's just a shitty event that you quickly move past.

The more abundance you have, the less you will care. When I have 5+ plates spinning, I often start feeling like I'm spending too much time hanging with girls and having sex. I'll often quietly hope that night's girl will flake so I can just chill out and play PS4 on the couch for once.

Learn to recognize the signs that a girl has a high probability of flaking. These are too many to list and many are just indications she isn't that into you: Sends short, infrequent texts. Doesn't ask a lot about you or your life. Never commits to a date/time/place right away (instead, asks "can I let you know tomorrow" etc.). Doesn't reach out to confirm the plans on night before or day of. Has flaked in the past.

In general, but especially with a high flake probability girl, decide in advance what you'll do with your time if the girl flakes. This will give you a positive thing to jump right into. If you only start thinking about this after she flakes, you'll be in a low mood and choose to be lame and eat ice cream instead of doing something cool.

Waiting two hours is pretty pathetic. If she's 20+ minutes late and hasn't even texted you to say she's running late or on her way, you need to bail. Needless to say, you should never be the one texting first when it is she that is late.
