I have posted on here before on how I was engaged to a girl I was with for 4 years, she broke it off, didnt fuck me and we broke up a couple months later, and shortly after she had a new bf.

I have maintained RP advice to go dark, well as much as I could while I had a phone bill in her. I got my phone back in my name and ignored every shitty water cool conversation starter she sent.

Not a word from her for over a month (she kept trying until early may), and now I just got this big text from her on how she is always there to come talk to when I am ready, and I am in her heart and thoughts, and she took some big trip overseas and looking at my fraternal ancestry, felt me there with her, etc, and ultimately ended up buying me something of historical value.

I know going dark is like crack to lady folk (and I dont plan on stopping the darkness), but how does her new bf feel about all this I wonder...

Its hard to respect him since he is either letting this happen, or he is making this happen.

What are your thoughts AskRP?

**EDIT UPDATE: I kept dark and did not respond. two days later I got a random text from her best friend. Not sure if its a coincidence. I responded to her, but cordially and short.
