I've been attempting to find foods which can help me bulk up (Currently a 5'7 122-pound male) but eating healthy seems mind-bogglingly expensive.

For example: https://paleopowermeals.com/order-meals/Bulk-Menu_Items (taken from a post on healthy eating on TRP)

Any of the protein-heavy options listed there would make, at best, a single meal for me. That means that eating a single meal a day would cost 5 grand a year.

I already eat three solid meals a day (and still feel hungry) and don't work out at all! If I were going to try to eat a similar quantity of food, it would cost 83% of the income of a person with a $10-per-hour wage. (Assuming no overtime)

That's before accounting for the cost of rent/mortgage, gas, insurance, and so on.

Is it just impossible to eat optimal foods on anything less than a Masters-degree salary?
