My buddy’s been in a relationship with a girl for over a year. He’s a real beta; mate guarding, protective etc. If I could estimate, he’s a 6 and his girl 8 in looks. But here’s the kicker. He wants to marry her and says there is no other girl like her. Keep in mind he’s 20 and she’s 18. I’m like wtf?? Says he’s got other chicks who’d be with him anytime but chooses to be with her as if she’s a unicorn. I’m close with them and hang out pretty much often and she wants to go to gym with me and one of our friends. Or if this guy doesn’t go, she and I could go together. That’s her words. Now I don’t want any drama with this beta boy or his girl nor I want to date or fuck her. I mean, yeah, she’s good looking but I don’t want to get too close. One time she even asked me if I’m cold and touched my leg and all kind of stuff.

But help me understand from TRP perspective what this is all about and the mentality of this relationship.
