Tl;dr at the bottom.

I just stopped being blue pill, and I realized that being completely honest, I'm a nerd. On the good side, I have good grades, but I get no respect, no female attention, and really have no close friends.

I've been lifting, but most people don't care. I figured a good way get respect would be to play a sport, but there are two reasons I can't: 1) our sports teams are trash, and nobody cares about them and 2) my parents say that since our school is trash and I won't get any scholarships from playing (they're actually right, nobody in the past 5 years has been recruited), I can't play since it is a waste of time. Anyway, here are my problems:

Appearance. I've been told I'm cute before. Problem is, my appearance screams nerd. I wear glasses, which people say make me look nerdy. Thing is, I look way better with glasses on than without. So should I get contacts when they'll make me look worse but less nerdy?

Personality. I do have a lot of nerdy interests and extracurricular activities: debate, mock trial, Latin club. Also, I'm kind of shy around new people. A lot of people make friends in cash, but I only talk to people comfortably when I know them. I just can't start conversations with strangers. How do I break out of this hole? Should I pick up less nerdy hobbies?

Girls. Upperclassmen girls are hot. I've read some stuff on game. Problem is, where and who do I practice it on? If I practice it on girls ar school and fail, it'll make my reputation even worse. So where do I practice?

What can I do about my personality, interests, looks, and game to become less nerdy?

tl;dr: I'm kind of a nerd. I have glasses that make me look nerdy, but I look better with them on. Should I still wear them? Also, how can I dress, act, and have less nerdy hobbies? How do I become less shy? And who and where do I practice my game?
