What I am asking is how do you stop this little emotional blue pill guy in your head who is always questioning your logical conclusions and trying to override them at all costs. From comments I read at this sub it feels like lots of you have managed to tame him so I wonder how since in past few days this little guy has been giving me a headache in two different areas of my life.
First of them is financial area. Lately I got myself into the stock market. I understand the basics, I know that emotions have no place here and I understand that money I invest should be money I am willing to lose. And I am willing to lose those money, at least the logical part of me is. It's not going to ruin me even if I lose all those money yet my emotions run high every time I go check my portfolio. And this obsession is not really going away and is negatively affecting other things in my life as well.
Second area is pretty common out there. It's women. I would not call myself practicing TRP yet but I understand basics and I can apply them to my life, at least theoretically. Right now I know a woman, she displays lots of red flags and I logically understand that if I pursue her I will end up getting bent over and fucked by her in the future. "Next her" would be an obvious answer if I asked what to do. But I know this already, what I don't know is how to actually do it because this blue pill guy in my head is trying to convince me that she has some redeeming qualities and I can be eventually happy with her.
