I'm a pretty average guy. 5'10", white, in shape but not jacked, good face, future doctor, etc... I'd say right now I'm a solid 6 or 7. However, 4-5, 6-7, and 8-9 are all interacting with the world very differently. If you're 6'4", jacked, and handsome, you're game is going to be different than if you're 5'5" with a baby face.
For instance, I date at a level that is right on the cusp of "would bang" for pretty much any guy. So if she makes it easy enough an 8-9 would go for it, but almost definitely not LTR. So most girls I've dated have at one point banged some 8-9 guy. For me, I think the biggest problem I have is that my level consistently over-estimates their market value. No matter what, my girl knows that in any given bar/club/class/whatever there is a guy that is more attractive than me that would probably sleep with her, but she might at least think I'm the best guy she could actually keep around.
Meanwhile, could a 5'5" guy ever expect his woman to really think he's completely alpha? Everyone towers over him, he's probably never really the "leader." I've found guys in that range really only have success by a) aligning themselves with a crowd of more dominant guys, and b) finding a short girl who doesn't have a whole lot of experience.
Then there are the 6'2"+, jacked, successful guys out there who hardly even have to try. Most of the girls they date pretty much max out at that level. It's hard to find a guy outside of celebrities or guys in positions of power that appear more dominant than them. It seems their biggest problem is picking the wrong women.
How would the conventional advice change for each of these groups?
