How is SMV Quantified?

I understand what you're asking since I'm a scientist myself who is especially interested in economics and geopolitics but I don't think there is necessarily a common quantitative firm of measurement in regards to SMV. Maybe if you have time you could try to see if there are research studies conducted on dating success in relation to some measurable attributes that the researchers kept constant but without searching I just feel there are so many variables that it would be difficult, not impossible, to gather data and suggest some conclusions. Very basic trends simply show that taller men tend to earn more money but studies such as this can only get so in depth because they don't control for things like ethnicity, facial symmetry, gregariousness, body fat, muscle mass, hygiene, area of the country, etc. Then there are other aspects of being larger such as food intake costs, health, etc. If I have time I'll try to delve into some older research conducted in the country before populations became more intermixed to try and control for some variables.

This would be simply for curiosity but just because you're not 6 feet doesn't impede your ability to better yourself in other aspects. We can't necessarily control our height but you just have to improve on what you can control and continue development in those aspects. In addition, the red pill is to understand the value of SMV and to improve on what you can't control and take responsibility for that instead of trying to meet a number such as height at 6 feet. Remember, in the end you're doing this for yourself, no one else, and once that's understood, the rest begins to fall into place because your motives are genuine and people respect that.

Your smv is comprised of all the physical and mental characteristics that effect how "fit" you are as a potential mate. There is a level of subjectivity as people prioritize different aspects of smv and have different preferences for whatever reason. As to how it is measured, you could probably quantify it from the perspective of one individual at one point in time but generally its very fuzzy.

This comes off as a bit discriminatory to lets say short guys

Interesting. There are massive holes in RP theory. Rollo is one of the major sources of spreading half-truths at times, particularly when it comes to his knowledge of major players in the development of psychology. He has at best, loosely cobbled together his ideas. I’m not aware of anyone who has put his work to actual rigorous test.

That’s not to say that what he’s saying is false, as such. There is either just very little research for him to use and what he does use, is quite often out of context. He claims to have studied psychology, which in addition to his own life experience, gives him authority. He’s woefully inaccurate in many ways. And he perpetuates this in his YouTube videos. The nuances you’d find in someone with a Masters or PhD is quite obvious.

I want to caveat my comment, and say that it’s easy to critique him. It’s not to invalidate his contributions. There does need to be some critical thinking applied, and actual facts. Citing the occasional study, with really just a nod to the Abstract, is hardly paying more than lip service. It’s difficult to keep up with what’s going on around us in the world. There is definitely the space for someone to step in and properly research things.

Anyway, you might get something from Carl, over at Black Label Logic. He has written two books, one of them being - Gendernomics. He seeks to apply theory in a somewhat more structured way.

The best way to measure SMV is what I call the "mirror test." Men's SMV is extremely difficult to measure, no? Seems like you've encountered that problem yourself. You know whose SMV slaps you in the fucking face? Women's. So, if you want to know a man's SMV, look at the highest tier of women who will fuck him. That's his SMV. It factors in all kinds of variables, like his confidence to pursue that level, their reciprocity of interest, etc.

Good luck trying to quantify that. There's far more to it than just those 3 things. Look at it from this point, SMV is everything and everything is SMV. Social skills, confidence, appearance, wealth, height, weight, ability to be dominant at the right moments, youthfulness, the list is nearly endless for men. There's going to be some area that we can improve upon that will add to other things. For example, you workout more it improves your physical appearance, health and confidence levels.

I would say SMV, roughly, is the totality of a myriad of factors and variables that contribute to the mechanisms of attraction/desirability - particularly with an emphasis on comparative scaling.
