So I have this guy in my social group, and I want to get rid of him. He's always competing with me, cockblocking me, he's a piece of shit to his LTR.

But none of that really bothers me as much as the fact that he constantly represents unsubstantiable value. He claims to have value that he can't actually offer. He makes these claims all day long, and as soon as you call him on one and ask him to prove it, out comes his laundry list of excuses.

This really bothers me since I learned about SMV, because I want to have friends who can add to my value, and I to theirs, but I can't do that accurately with this guy hanging around constantly misrepresenting his SMV.

Should I just start ignoring him? Should I publicly exile him? Try shame and degradation? Or is it just best to be direct and tell him I don't want him around if he can't be honest about himself with me?
