Long story short I met this girl 5 days ago, gamed well ended the night in a club and ended up making out and exchanging contact details. Over the next few days we talk about general stuff, comfort building. Then today I asked her to meet on the weekend for drinks. Her reply was “sorry but I’ve recently come out of a relationship so my head isn’t in the right place, sorry for coming across like that”. This girl isn’t necessarily special, she’s above average looks wise although I don’t know enough to comment further. My question is how do I handle this? Soft next I’m assuming?
