The "Red Pill" way is to be busy doing fun stuff. You don't have the downtime to spend hours texting a woman you haven't even fucked. During these two weeks, go out and get ten new numbers of women who are not away on vacation. If the first girl wants to hang out when she gets back, fine! Abundance, not desperation.

You haven’t fucked her yet. Any time you spend chit chatting over text while she’s away will only convince her you don’t have options. Forget about her and hit her up when she’s back. If she was genuinely interested then, she’ll still be interested a few weeks later.

The type of text game you’re asking about really only applies to existing plates/FWBs, but even then the jury is out on whether or not you should ping them while they’re away. Most people here would say not to, and I tend to agree. Although it depends on the specific situation - your relationship, what you want out of it, how skilled you are at texting, etc.
