I had the same problem for a very long time. Maybe you've always been high SMV so this wouldn't apply but what did it for me is realizing that when women were at their peak SMV and I was at my lowest, I didn't get any love; they were riding the cock carousel fucking Chadwicks. But now that I'm at my highest and theirs is only depreciating, suddenly men like I are expected to come to the rescue. Not happening. Of course women my age and older will hamster like fucking crazy and call a man misogynist for holding these opinions, calling it bitterness and resentment when it is simply not wanting leftovers. But I don't let their theatrics influence my behavior anymore.

You can see how dire the situation is when a man feels he needs to whiteknight himself, for woman he's never even met so that he feels guilty for satisfying one of his most natural biological urges. He truly believes not giving woman exactly what they want, when they want should be something he should feel ashamed about.

Stop insulting the woman, they're not mentally retarded, if they want to have sex with you let them, if they want to try and lock you down let them, as long as you're not blatantly lying about your intentions get off your high horse.

I'm older than you. Your situation, women trying to land an LTR, is quite common for me. First, if the women you are dating aren't raising the subject or trying to lock you down early on, there is no need for you to address it. Men who advertise that they are looking for an LTR come across as pathetic to women; they think something must be wrong with these men. Accordingly, the girls you are meeting don't expect you to be bringing up this subject. What happens instead is that they will say things like "why are you single," and "you have a lot of women gushing over you." They basically are answering their own question. They know men in your position have lots of options and enjoy variety. Their challenge is to try to lock you down. When asked why I'm single, I say I like being single but am open to a relationship with the right person. No need to say anything beyond that.

Once you date and have sex with them for a little while, you'll find that the vast majority aren't all that interesting to you, and you just pull away. You won't feel bad about it. You'll learn things about them that will make you glad you aren't married to them and want to move on. If you do like one, you then have to decide if you want to keep them around as a plate or as something more. How to do that or whether to be in an exclusive LTR is beyond the subject of your post. Keep in mind that women understand that desirable older men with options aren't exactly eager to get married, so it won't look odd that you aren't taking steps in that direction.
