It’s like training your legs to lift 400 lbs. You’ll fail, and fail again. You’ll wonder if the day ever comes. But, with strong effort and persistence, you’ll be squatting 400 in reps of 10.

Because you waste time crying on reddit instead of looking into another girls eyes. And another ones. And some guy. Then some girl, and another girl, and another. Don't forget to smile at the girls, not the guys.

It only gets better with practice, theory does little to nothing. Or do you need some motivational meme?

It's only failure if that's how you look at it. If you've previously never held eye contact in such a situation, then 1-2 secs is a massive step forward (just an example). Everyone does the best they can with the tools they have. Reframe your experience as a learning experience and stop beating yourself up because you did the best you could. The only thing that matters is that you keep trying. Every little step counts towards the goal.
