TL;DR at end

Im breaking a few long held red pill tenants. I know. Im still swallowing the pill, bear with me.

I caught oneitis like a motherfucker for this girl in my chemistry class at the beginning of this semester. I talked to her here and there about the class, nothing special. Few & far in-between IOI’s but I was getting something. About a 1-1/2 months in I found out she was already in an LTR and had no clue what AWALT even was, and I just kinda threw her on the back burner for about another month and a half. I found out about AWALT and just saw from how she acted and treated people that she wasn’t any different.

There was one problem though. I had bad approach anxiety. And by bad, I almost want to say crippling. Im a lot better now but I still got it. I took a few weeks and just worked on approach anxiety recovery and all that kind of stuff before I talked to her again.

It was the final day of class. I figured I do my best work right at the deadline anyways. I talked with her a little before about the exam we were about to take. Again, nothing special. We were walking out to the parking lot and I was talking with her again about grades and the course and stuff. This was the first convo all semester that she seemed to really be into. It was like 6 straight minutes just going back and forth with her, one of about 2 or 3 convos we had all semester without her friends being right at her side to chime in. We finally walked up to the point of the parking lot where we had to split off to go to our cars and I blew my shot. I fucking blew it. I couldn’t pull the trigger, she said “well, see you later”, and we went our separate ways. As much as I want that to be true, that was the last college class til September, and it would appear that I’m not gonna land any classes at that specific campus next term, and she told me she ended up landing 4/5 of her classes there for next term

My question, I guess, is how do you get out of the post-oneitis slump when you cant rationally see her as having any fault for it not having worked out? Every oneitis recovery guide I’ve ever seen are all the same, along the line of saying you gotta have contempt for her and move on. I know seeing your situation as the one golden goose egg different from all the others is practical blasphemy in the red pill community but I cant blame her for not throwing herself at me; I never even made my intentions known.

TL;DR: I beat around the bush on pursuing my oneitis due to bad AA. got down to the last opportunity that I could, and I ended up blowing that one too. College is out for the summer now, so there’s a 0% chance I’ll see her between now and september and a dismal chance I see her again at all. How do you get out of the post-oneitis slump when she wasnt the reason it didnt work out?
