So, I was approached by this chick in University, ended up getting her number following the multiple IOIs she had been throwing at me that day, and messaged her the following day.

I'm not a fervent messager and only try and use it for logistics, but we ended up having a fine convo. I asked her out to grab drinks about 3 days in advance, she wasn't available and instead asked to do it later the same day but reasonably late as she had work till late. We agreed on date and time and out of nowhere she was like, "Oh i just remembered I have to wake up early tomorrow, let's do it another night please", not making a big deal about it I answered, "that's alright, i'll see you then."

Clearly annoyed she answered "is that okay?" to which I replied, "you can come over, but I'm not waiting if you don't decide". She replied with "let's meet when you're back from holiday :)"

What are your thoughts on this situation? How else could I have handled the situation? Should I have persisted with the interaction or did I do a reasonable thing by not being manipulated by pussy?
