I saw one post on r/stopgaming from a guy that discovered that he has depression after he stop gaming and escaping from reality. Something clicked in my head, i realized that I tend to be really miserable when alone and nothing to do. So I am constantly seeking for distractions like games, music, movies, series, weed, alcohol, food(especially after smoking weed) and lots of other things. I am always trying to distract myself from the reality and tend to avoid anything that remind me of it, like being alone, studying, not listening to something when driving or something like this. I broke up with my gf of three years just to realize that I was miserable as fuck, I gave up from porn, game, weed and was the worst month of my life so I eventually get back to her to alleviate things for me.
I have no discipline and live a hedonistic life, always seeking for pleasure. I don't know wtf should i do. I read post like embrace sadness, embrace loneliness but I don't know how to do it and yet be disciplined to have a better life and feel good even when I am alone.
