So I had high sexual tension with a girl in my social circle. She was clearly interested and we where talking. However I stopped coming to the meet ups where we would see each other and stopped initiating with her over text as I focused on my school for the sem. Few months later I find out shes getting serious with another guy. She couldn't wait for me to complete my mission. A mutual friend told me that she prefers me still. I decided not to engage her by trying to compete with the other guy. I'm not gonna be manipulated like that. My question is: how should I treat her when we inevetibly will be seeing each other? I want to maximize my chance of smashing. Do I pull away and be cold? Or do I act like I don't even care and be friendly? Not sure if pulling away will come across as butthurt/thirsty or strong/alpha.
