You have any number of options as an introvert.
"Man of Mystery."
"Strong, silent type."
"Taciturn manly type."
"Brooding poet (or any artist) type."
All of those guys are alpha in their own way. It does make gaming harder, though. "Glib" and "Cocky asshole" are far easier to project.

No. Being shy or awkward or socially inept (which are beta) usually correlate with introversion, but that's because they are like muscles. You have to use them to grow them and many introverts don't because they feel no desire to.
You'll find you're much more comfortable talking to people you know well and in small groups. Go from there.
Places like clubs and loud bars are my kryptonite. My energy literally depletes within ten minutes if I go there. So I don't.
Also do a Myers-Briggs test. I found it very useful.

It appears to me introverts are born red pillars. Introverted doesn't mean shy, it means your more comfortable alone than you are with others. You get your energy from being alone. Radio silence from a woman isn't threatening to an introvert, it's refreshing.
Introverts spent less time talking and more time observing. You might not be as fast and comfortable with your words, but you'll have a better assessment of the situation and be able to keep your frame at a state where you can afford a slow recovery.
So no, being introverted is not beta. Being afraid or ashamed of it is.

No. Im an introvert and I love it. It doesnt make me beta, if all it makes me seem more alpha.
Being introvert is being comfotarble being alone. Being introvert is being self-charged instead of social-charged (extrovert).

No, you just need to spin it the right way. Make yourself seem mysterious and powerful rather than shy and timid. As long as you have social skills (can carry a conversation, etc) your fine.
