the reality is you might have been dealt a shittier hand than some, but you either keep self-loathing and cry or you change yourself for the better and see where it gets you.

Have a passion and hobbies, pursue your interests. Don't focus on your features which you can't change. Enjoy your life through the journey.

focusing so much on appearance won't make you attractive, it'll just make yourself insecure and a dull person. You won't be having much fun doing that.

Although im not unattractive by modern standards, I sometimes obsess over my flaws as well and it is just unproductive and I focus on things that don't give me joy of life. Makes some sense? It is more important feeling that fulfillment through doing something you like not to think about the things you have little to no impact on.

I am almost completely bald at 24 (this I legitimately was depressed about for years, and I still wear hats a lot). I'm 5'6. I'm very pale and have some acne scars on my shoulders. I have a big forehead. My smile is asymmetrical.

And with just a little bit of effort and talking to girls, I get called cute/hot/complimented all the time. And I've had two long relationships with decent girls who found me very attractive. And I get looks all the time in public. And I know now that it's not because I'm horrifically ugly. It's actually because I look good and I carry myself well. Some of us may have below average looks but there are always ways you can project a higher level of attractiveness.

I buzz all my hair off now. Makes me look tough and intense. I'm short but never complained about that. I work my ass off in the gym and have an athletic body and have a great physique. Any girl who would rather fuck a 6'0" skinny fat/dad bod disgusting slob over a 5'6" hot athlete has mental problems. I got invisalign to fix crooked teeth. I dress cool. I walk with confidence. I look people in the eyes. I take initiative. I lead. You do all these things, and even with below average genetic facial looks, you can do well.
