Is frame really just about committing to something go hell or high water and not being affected by anyone's reaction to it? Kind of like taking on a role and not breaking character until the play is over? If so, how are some people able to keep frame for so long without breaking it?

Yeah Frame isn’t so much about being correct, just about being unshaken. It’s basically your mindset and worldview. It’s not a role, though. Frame is stronger the more you actually live/believe what you think.

Part of it is recognizing how retarded someone else's frame is.

A lot of people have let themselves be taught the whole "assume everyone who disagrees with you might be right."

But this amounts to "assume you might be wrong."

And there's value in this when everyone is being intellectually honest. This attitude is something you should take with someone you MUST build rapport with (say, a customer) or someone whose earned your respect (an elder, a companion, etc.)

BUT NOT WITH FUCKING WOMEN.

Women do not argue righteously. Ever. Not even with themselves. Women don't have self-respect as we know it. What they have is a concern about how others see them, and it masquerades as righteousness. She is following her feelings, and then justifies everything after the fact.

In terms of frame, this is what that means. Her's is liquid. Even when she's right. A woman's frame is 1000000% the most worthless thing in all of humanity. It is not built to solve problems, or based on reality at all. It is built to make her see the world in a way that makes her the protagonist of a story she is constantly telling herself to manipulate her own emotions towards feeling good.

This is why when it comes to women, your frame should not waver. Because they genuinely never have a frame worth respecting.

You can internalize your frame and not give a fuck about other people's take on it, then it's not hard to "break" it because it's unbreakable. You wouldn't let someone convince you the sky isn't blue, would you? No. You'd think they were an idiot for believing anything else. For some people, that's how they feel about life.

You're pretty much spot on. Basically be a narcissist. Just go and watch any Lavar Ball interviews, especially his appearances on First Take.

He is the epitome of frame control. The guy came out of nowhere after his sons got a lot of hype playing HS bball. The media started talking to him and right of the bat says craziest things with unfathomable conviction. Before knowing about about any RP traits, I thought the guy was so full of himself and literally pissed me off, now I realized he knows the game and how to play it.

He ruffled a few feathers whenever he's been given a chance to and built an empire out of his media appearances and also got a few suckers who fell in love with him to invest in his BBB products till the scandal with his partner happened.

I remember him arguing with Stephen A. Smith, who himself has extremely strong frame control about whether he thinks his son will be better than Steph Curry and for the next 10 minutes or so was him spewing out the most retarded shit ever but never once backtracked on anything he said. It literally blew my mind that he made Stephen fuckin A shatter his own frame.

You won't break frame when you start believing it. You can go the fake it till you make it route and it will break and break until you develop real frame. Or it just sticks and you actually fake yourself be something you really aren't. Ask yourself why would you need to have strong frame and go from there. It's the belief in yourself and your worldview. It should be formed and strong, not subject to change (weak frames change all the time because they don't allign with the persons inner beliefs) and help you stay focused, unphased and assertive in life's tasks.
