If they gossip with you, they will likely gossip about you. Knowing this it's up to you to decide

If it's negative gossip then it's a red flag.

I have a close female friend who will praise friends behind their backs. Whenever I meet a friend of hers they always admire or are attracted to me because my friend already put in a good word.

Everyone gossips. I gossip. Or more accurately, I trade information, and build comfort. Also it’s fun.

Depends on the tone, content, and how personal it is. Gotta have boundaries and be smart about it.

But if someone is incapable of gossip, they’re probably not going to be highly fun/socialised/workplace adept.
