Hi, I'm 20 and go to college in montreal.

Got this girl's snap from a friend who said she goes to my college and I should take a shot.

Now this girl is really my style cute little face with decent tits, big butt and thick thighs (my one true weakness).

I start chatting her whithout thinking much of it. Since I've only seen her pictures, I don't really care much about it.

Things seemed to go in the right direction ( she was answering me within 1-2 min whereas I would make her wait hours since I was busy with school work, also she'd send me random pics throughout the day, mostly selfies).

This messaging was going on for about two days (I know that texting should be only for logistics but I wanted to see what I was getting myself into before actually making a move on her. Worst case senario, I ghost her) and the guy who introduced me to her hit me up saying that I was having a really strong effect on her. Apparently, she kept messaging him about me and saying she was going to ask that we meet.

Now while I had this information I decided to wait and see how (or if) she would make a move. Which she did (covertly, "do u have a class tmrw, when are u done ?" etc.) That day was my cheat day so I was planning on getting myself some lebanese food anyway and told her that if she wanted to join me for lunch, she could. We agreed to meet at 1.

The next day, I meet her at the cafeteria and we talk a little. She was pretty receptive. While we were talking she suddenly freeze out and start looking at someone behind me. After greeting that personn, she told me it was her ex (of course).

While I didn't really care, him being around was making her pretty nervous so I decided to speed things up a bit a change location right away. So I stood up and said "Let's go", her answer was some excuse about how she'd already had something to eat and that she needed to finish some work and study for exams, la di da. So She hugs me goodbye and proceeds to run away.

The whole thing was quite weird, maybe she still hasn't gotten over him. Whatever, I carry on whith my day and that night as I was going text one of my friends, I notice that her name on my message list changed to her username. This only happens when you get blocked, so I open up the messages to see if that was really the case and I was still able to message her, which meant she blocked and unblocked me.

I left it at that since it really didn't bother me, I just found it weird (and kinda funny).

A few days go by and yesterday, my friend told me that she blocked me because she was really embarrassed about her ex ( which makes no sense to me but ok ) and that I could still make it.

Now I'm not sure about what to do and I would like your opinion.

-Did I do something wrong in my approach ? ( for future reference)

-Is it really worth it to try again ? As she is exactly my type, which makes me want to do it, but seems to be still into her ex, so idk if it's gonna be a waste of my time or not.
