Is polygamy 'red pill'?

Polygamy is a female construct. It favors women.

Stronger men get more women. The strongest man may have 100 wives. In polygamous cultures, approximately 30% of men are married to 90% of women. The rest of the 70% of men have the fight over the remaining 10%.

Most men go unmarried, and unpartnered. This system ensures that women get to the highest possible value mate, in the aggregate. Polygamy ensures hypergamous success.

Looking through history, the men of these cultures were less incentivized to be productive. Monogamy increases the odds that most men will find a mate, spouse, partner. Productivity increases significantly.

Many of you seem to be speaking about polyamory, which is the red pill tenet of "spinning plates." Polygamy is forming actual and formal agreements to resource accountability/responsibility. RedPill philosophy maintains that polyamory is a native and natural state for males.

It was my understanding that successfully "spinning plates" effectively is polygamy. Sans marriage and all the legal bullshit though.

Am I missing something here?

It is officially banned, but women seem to make it a reality regardless. Men in western countries don't really decide who does and doesn't have access. In so far as it exists informally in western countries, it is a female driven phenomenon.

Polygamy was originally banned by men for (beta) men. (also, it forced women to trade temporary reproductive advantage for long term financial advantage since they weren't able to make the smart decision themselves.)

There was a scene from the movie The Ghosts and the Darkness.

The main character and a 2nd character are having a subtle dialog about marriage. The 2nd character an African native while the main is from the states.

2nd char "are you married?"

Main "yes I am, how bout you?"

2nd "yes i am, I have 5 wives"

Main "oh wow, im sure you're a very happy man then"

2nd "Do you love your wife?"

Main "yes I do, she is the love of my life and the whole world to me" he then rushes off to the train terminal to meet her

2nd character with a frown on his face "I don't like any of mine"
