It might be. Especially where she presumes that she did something to you. Although, to be fair, you walking away without a word after the silence does lend credence to the idea that she affected you. It could also be a genuine apology. You might be able to determine which one is the case based on how well you know her.

The "did not go home with anyone" part strikes me as odd. Whenever I lie, I like to tell half-truths where a good portion of my story is true expect for a crucial part. So in this case she may very well not have gone home with someone, but she may have, instead, done something with someone downstairs.

Anyway, I don't know what to do at this point but it depends on what your frame and end-goal is. Maybe invite her over one night and tell her to bring two beers as an allusion to that night.

Don't worry about the drinks, you'll probably never know where they came from. Best case scenario, she went to get her purse or bag from coatcheck to grab the beers her broke ass snuck in?

1 She doesn't want to lose connection with you. Not sure if for a friend/orbiter or sexy time or just found herself bored one day.

2 She's worried you're mad at her because of the lack of contact and disappearing at at the time. This is her way of non-apologizing with the 'i was way too drunk'

3 She's leaving the sexy door open. The 'did not go home with anyone' may or may not be true, but she wants you to believe it; either she knows you're sexually interested, or she is hoping and wants to send a mild 'hey, you interested?' However, the doors to the gates aren't open yet, but you do have clearance to make a play, and you should if its something you want; if she wants you as an orbiter, she'll not have sex with you, otherwise everything will seem the exact same from your end until you get better at reading her.

I don't know why the mystery beers threw you for such a hard loop, but in previous days, it may have done the same for me; something that is implausible or sounds like a lie can kick in paranoia easy. It shouldn't have phased you. You should have been 'OMG free beer, you're my new best friend. You stole these, didn't you? That's it, I cant ever have you at my place. I'll wake up to find my house cleaned out. You're cute, but I like my stuff, klepto.' (play teasing tone of voice and body language)

How you reply depends entirely on what you would like from/with the girl.

Not bad, but you can ease off on the negging and teasing her. She knows you're upset, but if you take it further she might either internally breakdown or just begin to adopt a confrontational mindset with you. If you want to see her again, I'd suggest you text something like "how about you spoil me to X place tonight?"

edit: I like /u/acoti 's suggestion better about inviting her over and telling her to bring 2 beers.

But about that message, it just feels like you're leaving out an important part. How exactly did the night end? Did you just suddenly ignore her and leave on your own back home? Did you say anything to her after that awkward moment?

I think she may be feeling guilty about something she did in that basement. She explicitly brought up:

i was way too drunk and did not go home with anyone

when you didn't mention anything about that. She probably cares about your opinion of her and she's worried you think she had sex with someone down there when you stormed off without saying a word. Then she apologized.

I would say something like:

"This was a game changer for me too. You are now officially my wingwoman...We'll go out, you use your game to get guys to buy you and I both drinks all night while I'm running game on chicks at the bar. We'll need a good cover story like you are my sister or something."
