By talking to a girl you show her that you give a fuck about her and that gives her power: she can talk back or reject you. Isn't it better to just wait for one to talk first?

Don't tell me such things don't happen cause it did happen to me at least 5 times in my life. I rejected all of them cause I was so insecure. After reading tons of TRP, I tried day game and cold approaches and got nothing. Some girls laughed at my jokes and went their own ways, some downright wanted to get away from me fast. One even threatened to report me to authorities.

A girl in the uni gave me massive IOIs (eye contact, playing with her hair, staring at my mouth as I spoke, laughing, on top of that I'd never seen her talking to anybody, always browsing her phone) and despite of all that, when I tried asking her out she just friendzoned me. Now that I think back, it was obvious she wasn't interested cause I gave her so many chances to go first and she didn't. Idk what made me try to ask her out first, oneitis maybe.
