Boyish charm is great, when a girl says you're cute that's usually a sign of affection. The issue with it is when it's all a guy has, and he doesn't know how to stop being cute and start being a man, that's when the ladies lose respect for him.

Seems to me like this is an issue with you, like you aren't taken seriously enough in the rest of your life and it's made you insecure about it. You don't need to be though, it takes time to become a respectable man, just keep working at self-improvement and I don't doubt that one day you'll get there.

You're only annoyed because you have a weak frame, which causes you to come at it from a position of weakness. In short, you're starting with the assumption that it's a bad thing, and it's pinging some insecurities. That's where your overthinking is coming from.

If you want to fix the source on it, work on understanding frame.

As for how to respond to it, just agree with them. "I know." "Yes I am." "Cute and delicious."

Cute means they dont see you as being ‘rough’ enough or man-ish. I used to get that a lot. Go get big in the gym, be rough around the edges and be assertive. And shut that shit down.

‘You’re cute’ -> ‘i didn’t know cute was synonymous with sexy as fuck.’

‘You’re cute’ -> ‘i think you’re cute too, not sexy or hot though, just cute’.

Being called "cute" is not a put down if it's not said in a way that is meant to dismiss you as unworthy. It can be endearing if you are alpha. I remember jogging in the park one day coming across this girl who had a puppy. I love dogs and started playing with the puppy and it loved the attention.
