I'll take a guess that this behavior toward you has not stopped because he knows he can get to you. He keeps doing it cause it gives him validation to "out-man" you. Stop letting it get to you: amused mastery.

He must have a reason for doing it, right? People don't just pick on other people, especially repeatedly, without reason. Think of it this way: he probably feels threatened by you or insecure about himself in some manner and picking on you helps him get over that insecurity. So just laugh it off. Pretend you know he's an insecure twat and give him a "really? Are you that desperate for a little validation?l"-look before you scoff him off and refocus on your task at hand.

The sooner you shut him down the better. Be amused.

It's a shit test. Use the tips in this subreddit on how to deal with it like the agree and amplify to disarm him.

Don't feed the troll, don't react and ignore. Reacting even through a facial reaction is food for them.

Talk to him in a private setting to tell him to stop.

Learn how to fight like MMA to build your self confidence so that shit like this will just be below you and you won't be affected anymore.

Don't react. He doesn't seem to have anything, he's not causing any harm.
Consider a reaction if he does cause harm. Collect evidence, observe his weak spots, and strike heavy - but keeping your energy level - at the first hint of harm.

Clearly he's getting to you and he can sense it. If he's making legitimate criticisms of you maybe you should work on those things, but keep a cool head and don't let it bother you. If he's spouting bullshit and you are confident in yourself then he's just going to make himself seem worse

Edit: a witty comeback can put him in his place without stooping too low. You can also agree and amplify in these in these situations if he's making himself seem stupid.

Next time he starts talking shit in the breakroom with people around just throw out your own shit talk, " You talk a lot of shit for a guy who had to have his computer reformatted from having to much porn on it. One would think you have work to do around here."

Sometimes all it takes is properly placed seed like that to shut them up forever. It's not worth getting in an argument over his shit talking if you called him out on it, nor going to HR, nor starting any kind of fist fight. You just have to find a way to put his ass in check by embarrassing him. Load up your word fodder gun, corporate environments are no different than high school, except that the shitty people are getting paid to be there.
