don't even go in with the mindset of trying to attract girls. that in and of itself is unattractive. you're going to college to accomplish things for YOU right now. girls will be attracted to your dedication

If you sit next to someone, oh wait, sit next to someone. So after you've sat next to someone, introduce yourself and start a conversation. Simple as that.

Don't try to determine value beforehand, some people might surprise you, in both good and bad ways.

Don't expect to be awesomealpha 3000 from day 1. Consider this semester a tutorial. Talk to people for practice, hang out with people even if they kinda suck. You want to cast a wide net ASAP. Trim the fat later as your network expands.

-talk to EVERYONE. This includes the geeky foreign kid and the frat boys and all the people in between.

-if you haven't already started, LIFT. FUCKING LIFT. it'll jack up your confidence.

-join a frat if you can afford it

-leave your ego at the door. You're a freshman in college nobody gives a crap about you except other freshmen.

If your trying to join a fraternity, don't try to impress them. Just be social and friendly. If you have value and they think your worth it, they will let you in. Just make sure you're not trying to join the wealthy frats if you have no money. My fraternity cost 1000 a semester. But that is not average across the country.

Don't focus on going after girls. Focus on YOURSELF and making YOURSELF better and you're more likely to get a good girl.

The fact that you think you can just ask an internet forum instead of doing hard work on yourself shows you have a long way to go
