Agree with DonaldBaelish however.....plan on spending big bucks on maintenance. The real question for me these days is; What vehicle gives me the most utility, reliability, and cost effectiveness, so that I can do the things I want?

A nice ride will certainly generate tingles with a certain type of woman but personally at my age, IDGAF.

I have a lot of fun in my Miata- they're cheap, reliable, exciting, and convertibles are a life necessity. I also like that I can do small upgrades to it, which gives me stuff to talk about with whoever, guys and gals. That said, it's not super practical, so look into it, but I can understand going for something bigger. Also, you can't be insecure about your sexuality in a Miata, because you will get those jokes, and you gotta A&A every time. There's a big community over at r/miata.

Toyota Truck, either Tacoma or Tundra. It's a good blend of utility, masculinity, and reliability.

Reliable, so it's a good financial move. Chicks dig trucks. It's good for your outdoorsy lifestyle; and if you don't have an outdoorsy lifestyle you should.

Women don't care about cars as much as you think they do. As long as it's clean, reliable, etc. Find something that fits your personality, and something you enjoy.

I drive a blue Z06. I'm big, loud, and extroverted. The car is much the same. It was my "poster" car in high school. When I finally had the means to step up from a string of sport compacts and a restored Mustang, I went out and bought it. This wasn't for anyone else, but what I wanted. I've since driven it all over the country, done loads of stupid shit, met a lot of great people, and launched a second career thanks to it.

Views from women are mixed: Some act as though its a sign of immaturity, some indifferent, but the 'important' ones understand that the car is an extension of my personality, not a tool to impress others.

Out of everything I've owned, the lifted Jeep or the restored 91 Mustang got the most attention from women. Both were absolutely terrible to drive long distances and I don't miss either. YMMV, however.

I've owned a couple Porsches. A cayman S and a 911 turbo. While simultaneously owning a nice truck during both (OEM(nothing modded)). I got more compliments and attention from girls on the truck. 9/10 Porsche comments were from dudes. From women's perspective a(clean) Porsche, mostly, is a Porsche. A cayman is only very slightly worse than a 911. And a 911 base carrera is exactly the same as a turbo. It's the same with Mercedes, Audi, and BMW. They don't know what the fuck an M or AMG badge means.

But overall it give you very little edge. Looking better, dressing better, etc gives way more value.

I ended up selling the 911 turbo about 8mo ago because I didn't drive it as much anymore and was out of the country a lot. It became more of a pain than it was worth. I have a 15 sierra Denali now. It's great when it's operating correctly but really had some reliability issues starting. I'm gonna get a Lexus GX or 4Runner next year and plan on driving it for 150k miles. At 25yr old I would have said I'd never not own a high end sports car. I'm 29 now, and I don't particularly care about owning one anymore, perspectives change. Buy what makes you happy assuming you can afford it, but the car won't change your life much.

I ride a CBR600F4I sportbike with loud af exhaust and leds on the fairings, women love it.
