I have been lurking on TRP for a few days now, doing some of the reading and looking at some posts. I saw a post today, not sure exactly where, that was talking about their top pick up strategies. One that stuck out was going up to a group of girls and asking them to smell two different colognes on each wrist, saying that you were trying to get rid of all the colognes that ex-girlfriends gave you. Another mentioned saying "I like what you are wearing, I would have worn the same thing, but then one of us would have to go home and change. In short, most of them seemed to be completely idiotic, and all of them dishonest.

Can a man be honest and a pick up artist? I am intelligent, have a good job, and some great hobbies. Do I have to act as though I'm dumb to pick up girls? I would think that playing on my strengths would be more successful. It seems that lying about who I am is a cop out, so that if I am rejected, it's not me that was rejected, but some made up version of me. I have a lot to learn about this, but integrity is definitely important to me, and I don't want to give it up to get laid.
