I started TRP two months ago and in those two months I feel like I began really making positive life choices. I set out these goals and ambitions that I want to realize and started working out again. Dieting is tough because the food hall is trash, but i've started lowering my bread intake and eating salads sometimes if everything's shit. (That being said, tonights dinner was maybe the best turkey I've ever had. The place is consistently inconsistent and just adds to the monotony of my days, but hey there's beauty behind the madness. It gives me something to look forward to every night.)

Anyway, I recently got caught with marijuana in my dorm and I'm probably going to be kicked out. I'd guess it's a 60-70% chance I'm evicted. That's really not the worst part. I am signed up for a study abroad class and the sanction of academic probation means I'm now excluded. That's 3000$ in deposits down the pisser, not to mention the fact my mom used all of our flight miles on non refundable tickets and booked the hotels for me already.

We're not poor by any means, but this type of thing will definitely have an economic impact on my family. My mom told me she thinks the reason my dad falls asleep on the couch is because he works himself too hard and my sister wants to graduate from private school like I did and that's another financial strain, and here I go fucking up again. My dad is a retired cop also so this weed related business wont go over well. My parents found my weed container during senior year and that was a whole ordeal for a while.

This is the least in control of my life I've felt in a very long time, and certainly since I started TRP. All of this shit is coming down on me at once and I don't know what to do. The final decision of my sanctions come right in the middle of spring break, on fucking Wednesday. If I'm kicked out of housing I have a week from the notice, which is again being sent during spring break while I'm home for 5 days. I don't know whether to tell my parents or wait or what. There's no telling how they will react really, but it probably won't be great.

For reference, I'm an 18 y/o college freshman just trying to find his place in the world.

TL,DR: Got caught with weed, now I'm suffering the consequences. I'm finding it hard to maintain my frame when this unexpected event has totally rocked my world.
