Is there anything concerning about an LTR not mentioning an ex-boyfriend? It’s none of my business, but given we have been together for a long while now I’d figure she would’ve at minimum mentioned she had been in a previous LTR. I don’t want or need any details, but wonder why a woman would conceal that information totally.

A friend introduced us after she was interested in meeting me. She had broken up with him months before and was looking for someone new. I agreed to go out with her last year and we’ve had a great time together slowly increasing in commitment since. Recently when I was with her and her family, we ran into her ex and his brother a couple of times in the same day for the first time. She just waved and said hello for maybe 5-10 seconds, no chat no introductions. I knew who he was but was a bit surprised there was no “hey just so you know I dated that guy for a long time.”

I can respect she doesn’t kiss and tell, and am not worried about her slipping back to him. He has moved away from her and she’s head over heels in love with me. I still wonder why a woman would keep that a secret though. Any thoughts?
