What to do if you see your LTR of X years preparing to branchswing?

End it before she does. The relationship is already over. She's decided to move on, but is looking for an excuse. If you stick around, she'll do things bitchy girls tend to do, like drama and blowing things out of proportion. She will try to do this to convince herself that leaving you was the right choice.

In either case, she's already made up her mind. It's not a matter of if, but when. The best way to end it is on your terms, and preferably without closure. "This ain't working out," and leave it at that. Don't say why, and remain stoic. If you do it right, it might have the bonus effect of having her guessing why, and keep thinking about you for years afterwords. But I wouldn't recommend getting back together with an ex. Maybe keep her as a plate afterwords.

That said, I think this bears saying: she was never yours. It was just your turn. This is the red pill you need to swallow.

You have to start to lead her. Your actions have to rekindle immense amounts of respect for you in her. By asking this question, you know you're way behind. Hit the sidebar, but fast. You're running out of time- if you want to save the relationship.

P.S. There aren't any shortcuts- you have to live this.

interrupt the swing , if she's posturing to leap from your branch to a new mans branch you rip that fucking branch out from under her by nexting her .

It's going to be very difficult to out maneuver the man she's interested in , not because you aren't better than him but because he already has captured some of her interest . even then out-maneuvering may come across as needy to her and just drive the swing to happen even faster. it's a tough situation for sure.
