I'm 30 now, and just learning about 2 secrets that have greatly impacted my life- Red Pill and Mindful meditation. I've listened to Sam Harris for years and surprised I haven't taken his insight more serious when it comes to meditation. After deployment in the military I developed panic disorder and dived into various addictions. During rehab (lots of agony of withdrawing and well free time) I dug into the Red Pill, lifting, and meditation, this coupled with surging testasterone from quitting opiates, I found a way to embrace anxiety for exactly what it is. I found the thrill of bettering myself.

But today presented me a unique challenge and judging by my many misconceptions of what meditation is about, I'm here for some insight. My ferret may have a bowel blockage, which can prove fatal fast. During meditation today (which reading red pill helped motivate me to do today. TY) common emotions like anxiety and anger popped up, which I handled like an observer rather than a victim, but when it came to the sadness of the prospect of losing my Paige I couldn't for the life of me simply observe. There came a tremendous guilt with trying to distance and view the emotions objectively. Then I'd try to settle back into the present only to feel it was wrong. I reminded myself the times I had to be cold to women dispite being an empath, and how it helped me become better, walk away tall, and inadvertently made them more attracted to me. I tried to apply this and that's when I felt like a monster. I at a loss let the sadness overcome me in tears and embraced it for what it is, but then I felt I was giving in. I haven't had to deal with sadness honestly since deployment, it's not something I'm used to.
