I have been on TRP for quite a while. Even though I have made some progress, I am still not as happy as I believe I should be.

My problem is, I have internalized the notion that I am a worthless omega male that doesn't deserve to even go through the pain of improving himself and should just accept this role that you have been in your entire life because it is your "true" self and the only way you will be happy. As ironic as that sounds, I know from a logical standpoint that it is completely retarded. Without whining, I came from a childhood where my overbearing "strong" mother would literally punish me if I got bullied at school and have even worse consequences if I stood up for myself. Add on top of all of that a batshit crazy sister that tells you every single day that you are an ugly loser that will never make any friends. Over time, this kind of upbringing drives this idea that you are a bottom 5%er profoundly into your head. Not trying to garner sympathy, just trying to show you my side of things.

How can I overcome this illogical belief that I'm a worthless piece of shit that doesn't deserve to improve to something more realistic and healthy?
