I know this post is probably breaking the rules, as it is not a question/request.

However, I've noticed a recent trend over the past few weeks where people start posting fake stories just to get some free validation. And the worst part is that the comments are filled with congratulating statements, as if this is a generic "WELL DONE FRIEND" sub.

Check the top post as of now. Guy says "OmG TrP gOT mE lAId!!"

And now check the dudes post history. The same story, with completely different facts. Instead of getting laid, the dude was actually left on read and ghosted on. As if this wasn't enough, he joins one of the worst subs in this website and asks for advice in a completely humiliating way.

Instead of slapping himself on the cheek for getting attached and being a complete beta, he decides to post a fake story here and everyone congratulates him.

This is demoralizing and disgusting.

"But, Derpjungler, aren't you being jealous and obsessive here?"

Well, maybe. But, here is my question to you:

Isn't the whole point of this sub to get the narrative straight and help others reach self improvement?

Instead, self-validating posts are upvoted like crazy, while people who actually seek proper advice and pose fair questions, get ignored.
