There were concerns about how she would cope in prison.

Judge Dean said: "These matters arise from the vulnerabilities of Miss Ward.

"I think there's some understanding on her part, that to report something that's untrue is a serious matter, but it's not a malignly motivated false report.

"She understands what she did was wrong and there's culpability, although at a lower level than it would be in many other cases."

This nonsense will go on until the law changes. A woman who makes a false rape report should go to prison for exactly the same amount of time a man would if everything she claimed was true. If a man would have gone to prison for 20 years, she should go to prison for 20 years. The whole so-called Western justice system is a complete sham.
