Hi guys,

I am having some serious doubts about my relationship. I have been with my girlfriend for 5 months. Everything is amazing. We love and respect each other and have a very healthy relationship. We do things for each other and are not petty.

The problem is when alcohol is involved. When she's drunk, this side of her comes out that is rude, insecure, and mean. The other night, she got drunk and called me freaking out. She called me an asshole, liar and dick because she thought I was cheating on her. I told her that I don't tolerate being called that and she apologized profusely the next day. I even said that I was willing to put our relationship on the line to prove that I wasn't cheating on her.

Everything seems so great when we are sober that I am wondering what the fuck is going on that comes out of her when she's drunk. I told her that I won't tolerate her behavior and that our relationship is not as mature as it seems. I also said that I am doubting us.

Can any of you give me advice if this has happened to you? I have never been a relationship guy and this is annoying to me. I don't like to deal with irrational immature things like this.
