So Ill try to keep this brief...

I have been a subscriber of this subreddit as well as TRP as of a couple years ago. I have internalized most of TRP principles since then and it has done nothing but change my life for the better.

A little backstory: So I matched with this HB8/9 about 3-4 years ago on bumble. We hit it off for about a month back then and we hooked up. After that she ghosts me for about a month. I didn't think anything of it (as my turn had expired). She is one of those girls that has orbiters all the time (and I DO NOT mate-guard or get jealous). After the month she told me why she ghosted me, whatever, I didn't really care anyway.

Long story short she would keep in touch with me over the years with social media and random texts about shit. I didn't really care as it didn't affect me with other chicks.

So the last month or so she really ramped up chatting with me. Said since we first met she had always had a thing for me, blah blah blah, etc (watch what they do not what they say). She invited me to a concert and we hit it off and hooked up. We have hung out twice since then.

Yesterday she mentioned that she wasn't sure if she was going to "invite me" to a local downtown festival this weekend as a joke.

She then proceeds to follow it up:

Her: "well I have other options (as I'm sure you do as well) but I kinda dig you right now".

Me: responding to the first text (the invite joke) "sick burn lol"

I follow up with a troll gif...

Her: "I had to delete that (the gif) off our chat I couldn't stand it"

Me: "Fair enough"

Her: "Don't be so vague"

Her: "speaking of vague I have some not-so-vague questions for you"

Now based on my TRP knowledge (still growing I might add), the invite joke was a shit test. The questions are a prelude to "the talk". My response to both of these was to ignore (First of all I don't chat about serious shit through text, its stupid).

My defense mechanism is to withdraw attention and ignore it until it is brought up in person. I can tell she has noticed that I have retracted a bit. I am not sure how to respond to her "questions" as I am sure they will be brought up again in the near future.

I haven't really responded to her since she had said that stuff. I told her I was busy last night as was the reason I didn't respond in time. I do not have any obligation to her as we haven't discussed "what we are", etc.

I do dig the chick and enjoy my time with her, but I barely know her and women can hide crazy like they have PhDs in it. I still need to vet her rigorously before any type of LTR is possible. Sounds like it is coming to an ultimatum type deal.

Any advice or stories? Cheers to fellow brothers in arms.
