ask her if she wants gloves to match her tank top

she declines, doesn’t want “gloves with my sweat in them”

I tell her she’s a tryhard, and her hair bleaching is as bad as her fake accent.

unfortunately I had come up with this line prior, not an in the moment quip, Canned, sounds canned, cringe

falls flat. She looks at guy next to me and goes “what…?” He shrugs. She goes elsewhere I suspect because of me.

realize I wasn’t in the moment

worry that this will happen whenever I try to punch above my weight (although she really isn’t, I just suck at shit tests) because pretty girls make me nervous

she talks with less attractive guys the rest of the time

Monday I negged her accent so this was kind of a follow up. That time she just went elsewhere too. Basically I can’t keep her attention to flirt.

wondering if this is because of inadvertent pedestalization but I rarely come up with good comebacks to any shit test regardless.
