NYC vs. SF

I've always thought of SF as an east coast city that happens to be on the west coast. If you're having good success in SF then there's no real reason not to in NYC. And you can get used to the weather. Humans are adaptable. Our species survived ice ages and shit.

NYC is so big you can't generalize. Find a neighborhood that suits your personality. Try city-data.com, walkscore.com, areavibes.com, etc. to do some research when you're apartment hunting.

In all honesty - you can't get much more day opportunities than in a city where everyone walks, people actually use the parks, etc. The only question is are they your kind of people, and that's down to what neighborhood you choose. Alphabet city, Greenwich village, upper west side, Williamsburg Brooklyn, queens. All different but cool in unique ways. Also consider Hoboken, depending on where you work it can be a good option.

I'd avoid Hell's Kitchen and midtown in general, and the UES - but that's just me. Rich people and corporate commuters and tourists aren't my thing. Also down by Wall Street is a ghost town after dark, so be leery of places like the lower Manhattan waterfront, battery park city area - looks nice in the rental ads, but not so much to do nearby as far as nightlife. But my info is a bit out of date it's been a few years. So definitely ask around and see.

None of the above info is really game-specific or anything redpoll, just some thoughts on moving to NYC. I got sick of it, personally, but that was after 10 years. If you're young and having a good time in SF my suspicion is that you will have a good time in NYC.

I've heard some people on TRP having issues with gaming in NYC because the women there set the bar damn high (might be similar in San Fran but idk), an 8 in NYC will shit test you way more than say an 8 in Iowa.

I don't know about game, but I prefer California girls over NY girls any day.

And fuck living in NY. It's dirty, crowded, and cold. Why would you ever choose NY over the bay area.

Having lived in both, I prefer San Francisco. But from a game perspective, NYC has 8x the population that we do. If you're looking for massive numbers of women, nothing says abundance mentality like literal millions more women.

I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts on SF in light of the tech boom. Would seem like SF is full of a lot of affluent tech salary beta pussy providers and the women know this. NYC has finance of course, but also has fashion, media, publishing

They are not remotely comparable. I love SF just fine but the number of hot women out there doesn't even slightly approach the levels in NYC. New York has what's essentially an inexhaustible supply of extremely attractive women (and less attractive ones too of course) of every possible ethnicity and style and career and language etc.

It's not a close contest.

SF is a tech and homo fueled sausage fest. The male:female ratio is very bad.

NYC is literally pussy paradise, among the world's greatest playgrounds for hot babes. One of the few places on earth where you will see multiple 10s in a single day.

In terms of sexual prospects, NYC is far superior. In SF you have much more competition for fewer quality women. NYC is the only place where I regularly get stared down on the street and cold approached by legitimately attractive women.

NYC girls are more stuck-up and preppy. SF girls are more laid back. The stereotypes exist for a reason.

Hypergamy is rampant in NYC. Not so sure how bad it is in SF, but hypergamy is still present there.
