I am very seriously considering marriage. I am convinced of her loyalty and vice versa. Her friends and family have very persistent communication with her and a kind of tight leash...i.e. I don't think that even if she wanted to be unfaithful that she could get away with it without them knowing. Comes from a very traditional non-western culture. When she finishes school here in North America, she will probably make 50% to a 100% more than I do so I don't think that there is any gold digging (not that there is much to dig anyway).

My concerns are of course the usual...divorce rape, being cucked, AWALT and all the horror stories that cover this and other things.

I have some serious flaws and she loves me in spite of them and accepts me for who I am.

Objectively I think I am getting oneitis i.e. if I was reading this then that's what the post would be screaming of.

However, my goal is not to live my life according to what people on a subreddit or two would approve of, with all due respect to TRP which has helped me a lot. I want a stable family life and kids and a loyal faithful wife. If that means she is the last woman I'm with until I check out then ok...that's a price I'm willing to pay.

I'm asking for thoughts because I am approaching the point of no return very fast (or emotionally I probably already am)...I know that if I am a sucker I wouldn't be the first one to be falling in love and forget about all the possible consequences.

Anyone been in a similar position and it paid off handsomely or it crashed and burned in divorce or a sexless life with a boring wife?

With all due respect to the younglings...if you are younger than 25 your brain hasn't matured fully yet and I will value your opinions accordingly which is skewed toward 0...unless you have gone through madly in love marriage or quasi-marriage
