Oneitus for someone else while in a LTR

Can’t tell you specifically what to do in these situations. You already know what you want to do.

You have a plate. You have an LTR who you’ve already stepped out on. Why change it? Feeling guilty? You’ve already self diagnosed you have oneitis.

How would focusing more on your oneitis be beneficial to you?

Take it from me, you’re not gonna be able to get the one girl out of your head and pure always gonna constantly feel like you’re settling for the other. If you can def LTR the oneitis then go for it. I’m happier once I did

Just leave the LTR. And as soon as possible. Not only for you but also for her as you are currently making her live in a lie (and even more if you are cheating on her with with the plate, not sure if I understood this properly).

Then maybe you might LTR the plate, or not. But that is not what matters most. You will have regained your freedom, and your future ex-LTR will be able to move on. Focus on leaving the LTR, that's the first step.

Be a man and break up with the LTR. Demoting is a pretty narc thing to do. She deserves to move on.

And then focus on yourself for a bit, before hopping into another LTR. Have a think about why you always need a woman, whether plates or LTR.

You don't look to upgrade. You upgrade when needed.

You are married to your LTR. You can pull back, and start spending more time on the other women.

You don't promote plates because you have oneitis, you promote them because you have vetted them and they deserve it.

Leave your tlr because your not that attracted to her, and it's going to difficult to plate an ltr but you can try.

Do not promote the plate.....she has to ask to be promoted. That's how you set the stage for the relationship to be in your frame. Make sure the plate has been well vetted before hand. Sexual attraction alone does not make her worth an LTR.

You need more plates to avoid this oneitis.
