It depends. Most girls won't challenge it. If she's actually challenging on it, then I usually just raise my eyebrow and continue the previous flow of conversation. Alternatively, you can smirk and teasingly say, "Do alot of guys buy you drinks...(her affirmative response) And where are they now/Well good for you."

It's playful and you're basically teasing her for acting like a princess.

This doesn't work if you look like a bum.

Proper manners says if you invite someone on a date, you pay. If you don't want a woman to think you're a cheapskate, you pay.

However, BP guys go overboard and take women to expensive first dates and don't realize the woman doesn't want to go with you ... but with your wallet.

The way you screen out women is if they are okay with drinks or not. If they want you to take them to something that has a higher cost or entertainment value, don't even go on a date with them.

For example, you say drinks, and she suggest ANYTHING else, such as a movie, dinner, party, club, laser tag, amusement park, putt putt golf, carting, go with her friends, invite her friend, a rave, whatever it is ... then she is interested on your wallet and not you.

The proper solution, therefore, is to invite a woman on a date for "a drink". You should NEVER spend more than $20 on the two of you for the first few dates. If the date is going great, yeah, get another round, but that's it. If the date is going poorly, down your drink and tell her it's not working out.

The reason why you do drinks is because it's all about the two of you sitting and talking, and it indicates her interest in you and nothing else. Additionally, a woman who is willing to drink alcohol with you is also willing to get tipsy and maybe kiss you or more due to lowered inhibitions.

A woman who is interested only in your wallet will avoid drinking alone with you.

This is straight advice from Doc Love which I learned about 15 years ago and it has been an absolute miracle in terms of weeding out crappy women.

First meet up: go dutch

Second+: go dutch or whoever makes the plans can pay. This can also give you a good reason to hold off on future dates and let her come to you instead of you always making plans.

When you order each of your drinks, pay immediately in cash. Don't offer to buy her a drink, don't ask her what she's drinking.

Otherwise, the tab comes at the end of the date. If it is going well and you're gonna get laid, pay ...or don't. Do what you want.

I never spend money on dates. In fact, I try to avoid going places that you have to spend money. A walk in the park, a hike up a mountain, stroll along the beach... All free, all possible to be romantic.

My goal is no more than gas money spent, before sex. Usually after sex, that's all I have to spend anyway.

In my limited experience, I've noticed women don't have a problem splitting the bill or even paying the whole tab if she thinks you're a "catch" or in other words, you show you have high smv. Just let it be known through your actions that her mere presence isn't worth a free dinner or drinks.

Strangely enough, every time I've paid the bill, I'd never see or hear from the woman again. Whenever I would split it, I would see the woman again and hookup. Mind you my sample size is small (~25 dates throughout my year long red pill journey).

If it is going well and you think you want to continue the night with her, have plans to switch venues. Let here know that you will get this round and the next one is on her. After all, you are a modern man who believes in equality right ;)

If you're rich, just pay for everything because money doesn't matter to you.

It really doesn't matter though. I dated a millionaire and paid for almost everything. It went quite well. Then sometimes I just let her pay. But again, I don't mind paying for things. Typically I try not to.

If you mind, then do not pay for anything that isn't yours. Only fully pay for yourself. If she challenges you, use /u/trp_hamlet's response.

It's a bit of a catch-22 because if you're going on a date and you're dressed like a poor person and nothing about you says you're employed, it's going to be negative points for you. Otherwise it's going to be positive points. And it differs from culture to culture, and girl to girl.

Usually if she offers split it. Don't let her take you for a ride or "presume you will pay."

This will all be very insignificant compared to all your other behaviors.
