How do you not get called buddy/ react? It seems like half my coworkers call me/most people their "buddy". Its a power move, its quite obvious. I currently just pretend they didnt say it and act normal and friendly, cause what else do you do? Say thanks pal?

What would you do in professional setting? Social setting? I know, just laugh it off like a child is teasing you, cause thats all it is, but there must be a better way.
