Her: "Okay if you're not comfortable with it then I won't"

I just pinched her cheeks and called her cute and that was the end of it. On the one hand, she did ask me and when I expressed I wouldn't like it, she told me she wouldn't. On the other hand, she was willing to go on a 1 on 1 coffee date with another guy. Does this require any more action? Should I soft next, demote? I'm not sure. Sorry for the wall of text.
