Nobody can make you swallow TRP, you must embrace it yourself. If you're writing a paper or something I could see how this post would be warranted, otherwise maybe you should try some of the teachings and see where it takes you.

Graduate psychologist here. If you're looking for empirical evidence it's hard to find direct x= y studies. Your best bet is looking into evolutionary psychology.

Evolutionary psychology states that the conventional nuclear family developed as it prolongs out genes. When a woman is pregnant she needs a provider who can not only feed and protect himself but her also. This makes sense because a pregnant woman is vulnerable and unable to fend for herself, therefore she seeks to mate with the man who is most "alpha" as he is the one who is best suited to keeping her and her children alive. Evolutionary psychology theorises that emotions such as jealousy arrive from this. The man is now investing a large portion of his time, energy and resources looking out for this pregnant woman, he wants to ensure that it is his offspring so jealousy takes care of that. A jealous man would prevent other men from interacting with his woman and he now has no doubt in his mind that this child is his . These are some basic ideas and there are many many more theories like this. The idea is that there processes inbuilt in ourselves and we haven't outgrown them even though they have served there evolutionary purpose.

In regards to the development of a "beta" and an "alpha" in today's standards, it's easy to spot the developments in yourself and others. I can pin point crucial stages in my own development which have caused me to become beta. However as a student of psychology you must separate confirmation bias from what you are observing, until you keep seeing the redpill in very walk of life and you're like holly shit fuck!
